On June 8, the sixth meeting of China-CEE Joint Chamber of Commerce was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, with the theme of "New Beginning, Renewed Sailing, Renewed Harvest". More than 500 representatives from the political and business sectors of China and CEE countries participated in the meeting through online and offline means.
The Export-Import Bank of China is one of the largest shipbuilding and shipping financing institutions in the world, with nearly 30% of ship financing invested in Europe. As an important participant in China-CEE cooperation, the landmark cooperation projects supported by Exim Bank financing, such as Hungarian-Serbian Railway and Piraeus Port, have had a positive and significant impact on China-CEE cooperation.
With an eye on the future, the Chairman called on the Chinese members of the Joint Chamber to continue to play their respective advantages, strive to promote trade exchanges, support local economic and trade cooperation, provide trade financing support, build connectivity partnerships, support hard connectivity in infrastructure and soft connectivity in rules, management and standards, expand trade and investment cooperation in health, digital and green areas, improve epidemic prevention and control and medical care, and actively serve China -Central and Eastern European cooperation will be stable and far-reaching.
The China-CEE Joint Chamber of Commerce is one of the important cooperation mechanisms under the framework of China-CEE cooperation. As the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Joint Chamber, The Export-Import Bank of China actively co-organized this meeting to implement the "China-CEE Cooperation Beijing Activity Plan 2021" through practical actions.
