China's Digital Economy Industry Scale
Data has become an important strategic asset for corporate development and even national development. According to the "White Paper on China's Digital Economy Development" issued by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, China's digital economy will continue to develop vigorously in 2020, expanding from 2.6 trillion yuan in 2005 to 39.2 trillion yuan. At the same time, the contribution rate of the digital economy to China's GDP has continued to increase. The proportion of the digital economy in GDP has increased from 14.2% in 2005 to 38.6% in 2019, a year-on-year increase of 2.4 percentage points.
