On June 4, after five years, the he Export-Import Bank of China issued domestic US dollar bonds again, which were widely and actively subscribed by investors. This issue is the first domestic US dollar bond issue in the market with the participation of a brokerage firm as the lead underwriter, and CICC participated in this issue as the lead underwriter.
The bond issue raised a total of USD 300 million with a maturity of 3 years, a coupon rate of 0.70% and a full subscription multiple of 2.68 times. Meanwhile, the bond is also the first domestic USD financial bond to be included in the scope of pledged underlying securities since the foreign currency repo business was jointly launched by Shanghai Clearing House and the Exchange in December 2019.
As the growing demand for foreign exchange funds by domestic enterprises and financial institutions, issuers, investors and issuance varieties will become increasingly abundant and the domestic and foreign currency bond market will enter a phase of steady development.
