The First Wholly Foreign-owned Currency Brokerage Company has Settled in Beijing
The Beijing Banking and Insurance Regulatory Bureau disclosed that on June 11, it had approved the opening of Ueda Yagi Money Broking (China) Co., Ltd. The company, which is wholly owned by Japan's Ueda Yagi Short Capital Co. and has a registered capital of RMB 60 million, is the first wholly foreign-owned currency brokerage company in China and the sixth currency brokerage company in the country. It also marks that the company can operate brokerage business for domestic and overseas foreign exchange market, currency market, bond market and derivatives trading.
