Regional Growth Rate of China's New Energy Vehicle Industry in 2021Q1
In the first quarter of 2021, only Hubei, Guangdong, Beijing and Tianjin achieved year-on-year growth in new registrations, with growth rates of 51.5%, 27.9%, 7.6% and 3.7%, respectively.
On the contrary, in the third and fourth quarters of 2020, most regions of the country registered new enterprises at a faster growth rate, with a national average growth rate of 51.9% and 52.2%. Among them, the five most active regions for new enterprises were Guangdong, Fujian, Jilin, Sichuan and Jiangsu, with year-on-year growth in the third and fourth quarters of 2020 of Guangdong (129.0% and 208.2%), Fujian (112.3% and 107.7%), Jilin (324.6% and 76.4%), Sichuan (109.8% and 72.0%) and Jiangsu (75.7% and 109.3%)
