Mission and tasks
The main task of the EBA is to contribute, through the adoption of binding Technical Standards (BTS) and Guidelines, to the creation of the European Single Rulebook in banking.

EBA Research Workshops
The EBA Research Workshops are annual events that aim at bringing together economists and researchers from supervisory authorities and central banks, as well as leading academics, to discuss the developments in the banking sector and the challenges for banks and their regulators.
Governance structure
The EBA is represented externally by its Chairperson whose role is also to prepare the work and to lead the discussions at the Board of Supervisors' table. An Executive Director is also appointed.
Budget and accounts
The financial regulation and its implementing rules, applicable to the European Banking Authority, form the basis for the Authority's budget implementation and financial management.
