China Everbright Bank enhances loan support for agricultural sector
As of the end of August, China Everbright Bank, a national joint-stock commercial bank, had steadily increased its loans to support the agricultural sector, poverty alleviation and rural revitalization in the country.
The bank's outstanding agriculture-related loans amounted to 411.9 billion yuan (about 58 billion U.S. dollars) as of the end of August.
Meanwhile, the bank has leveraged the role of e-commerce in boosting the development of rural companies.
It helped 232 rural companies launch 1,050 types of pro-agriculture products online by the end of August, with the total sales value reaching 148 million yuan.
