Regulations adapted for further GBA development
The State Council has agreed to make temporary adjustments on some regulations in South China’s Guangdong province in a reply sent to the Guangdong provincial government on Nov 25, in order to promote development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
According to the letter, administrative rules concerning customs guarantee and import and export tariffs in the province will be adjusted.
Qualified vehicles from Hong Kong and Macao entering the Chinese mainland via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge which comply with the policy will be exempted from customs guarantee, the letter read.
The Guangdong government, General Administration of Customs and related departments should fulfill their duties to promote policy implementation, make timely adjustments on regulations and set up a related management system.
