In the third quarter of 2022, China's current account registered a surplus of RMB984.2billion, and the capital and financial accounts recorded a deficit of RMB1020.1billion.The financial account (excluding reserve assets) recorded a deficit of RMB762.9billion, and reserve assetsincreasedby RMB256.4billion.
In the first three quarters of 2022, China's current account registered asurplusof RMB 2061.9 billion, and the capital and financial accounts recorded adeficitof RMB1794.7billion.The financial account (excluding reserve assets) recorded adeficitof RMB1410.3billion, and reserve assets rose by RMB382.3billion.
In SDR terms, in the third quarterof 2022, China posted a surplus of SDR110.2billion under the current account, and adeficitof SDR114.2billion under the capital and financial accounts.The financial account (excluding reserve assets) registered adeficitof SDR85.5billion, and reserves assetsincreasedby SDR 28.7 billion.
In SDR terms, in first three quarters of 2022, China posted asurplusof SDR231.5billion under the current account, and adeficitof SDR202.0billion under the capital and financial accounts.The financial account (excluding reserve assets) registered adeficitof SDR158.9billion, andan increase ofSDR42.9billionunderreserves assets.
In the US dollar terms, in the third quarter of 2022, China's current account recorded a surplus of USD144.3billion, including a surplus of USD200.7billion under trade in goods, a deficit of USD29.2billion under trade in services, a deficit of USD33.9billion under primary income,and asurplusof USD6.6 billionunder secondary income. The capital and financial accounts recorded a deficit of USD149.0billion, including a surplus of USD111 million under the capital account, adeficitof USD 111.6 billion under the financial account (excluding reserve assets), andan increase ofUSD37.3billionunderreserves assets.
In the US dollar terms,in the first three quarters of 2022, China's current account recorded asurplusof USD310.7billion, including a surplus of USD 521.5 billion under trade in goods, a deficit of USD65.5billion under trade in services, adeficitof USD162.9billion under primary income,and asurplusof USD17.7billion under secondary income. The capital and financial accounts recorded adeficitof USD270.2billion, including a deficit of USD 322millionunder the capital account, adeficitof USD212.3billion under the financial account (excluding reserve assets), andan increase ofUSD57.7billionunderreserves assets.
