Meeting of the IFAC Board and Board of Directors
During the meeting of the IFAC Council on November 15, 2022, Asmâa Resmouki was elected President of the organization (for a two-year term). Her deputy was Jean Bouquot. New members of the Management Board were also elected, the IFAC Strategic Plan for 2023 was approved and amendments to the IFAC Constitution and Bylaws were adopted. Membership issues were also discussed: one professional organization gained the status of a full member, four organizations became associate members (including the Chamber of Statutory Auditors of Ukraine), and one organization was removed from the IFAC group.
An important element of the meeting was the report prepared by Alan Johnson - the outgoing president and chairman of the Nominating Committee - and reports from the Subcommittees and Advisory Groups of the Management Board.
The meeting of the IFAC Board was held on November 16, 2022. The agenda included, among others: issues such as: approval of the recommendations of the Nominating Committee regarding the composition of Subcommittees and Advisory Groups of the IFAC Board for 2023. The Management Board also received updates on the recent activities of the Nominating Committee.
