China to launch courses on tax coordination for BRI countries
China's tax authorities have worked actively with Belt and Road countries in recent years and are ready to launch courses to better promote coordination and reciprocity on taxation among them, officials from China's State Taxation Administration said on Tuesday.
Huang Yun, spokesperson of the State Taxation Administration, said at a news conference since the Belt and Road Initiative Tax Administration Cooperation Mechanism was established in 2019, it has been committed to jointly building a growth-friendly tax environment. The Belt and Road Tax Administration Promotion Alliance was set up under this mechanism and has been responsible for capacity-building in the taxation field, including personnel training, research and enhancing technical assistance.
He said the alliance is now ready to launch version 1.0 of its curriculum system to the world through the official website of the cooperation mechanism and the website of the Belt and Road Initiative Tax Academy.
