China Petroleum Leading the First Green Manufacturing International Standard Project
In late May, the reporter learned from the Engineering Materials Research Institute that the international standard proposal for the "Guidelines for Green Manufacturing and Low Carbon Emissions of Oil and Gas Field Equipment and Materials" was submitted by the institute to ISO/TC67 (International Organization for Standardization Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry and Low Carbon Energy Technology Committee) was officially approved after a vote. This is the first time that PetroChina has led the development of international standards in the field of green manufacturing.
The international standards for this project will revolve around the definition and connotation of green manufacturing and low-carbon emissions, unifying conceptual understanding, clarifying the specific content and methods of implementing green manufacturing (including remanufacturing) and low-carbon emissions in the petroleum industry, and provide standard support for the sustainable and high-quality development of the petroleum industry.
The international standard proposal for "Guidelines for Green Manufacturing and Low Carbon Emissions of Oil and Gas Field Equipment and Materials" has received strong support from relevant departments such as the Ministry of Petroleum Science and Technology of China. It took 5 years from preparation, cultivation, to formal project approval. During this period, the project team undertook multiple standardized scientific research projects such as the group company's "Preliminary Research on International Standardization of Green Manufacturing of Petroleum Equipment" and "Research on International Development Strategy of Group Company Standards under the background of" Dual Carbon ", promoting TC 67 to clarify the key work direction of green manufacturing and low-carbon emissions in the future, and issuing ISO/TC67" Position Report on Green Manufacturing and Low Carbon Emissions of Oil and Gas Field Equipment Materials ", And a "Green Manufacturing Special Working Group" was established, laying a solid foundation for the smooth progress of this project proposal.
In the next three years, experts and scholars from more than 10 countries, including China, Argentina, Canada, Germany, and Italy, will jointly complete the formulation of the standards.
