01
Case1 : Facilitating Trade Foreign Exchange Receipts and Payments
A certain airline has the largest crew in Asia, with an annual service trade revenue and expenditure exceeding 5000 transactions. Before the pilot, the enterprise needs to submit a complete set of background information to the bank for business transactions, which requires a lot of time and manpower. Bank of China Guangdong Branch promptly understands customer needs, based on the principles of "understanding customers", "understanding business", and "due diligence review", and in accordance with the admission conditions for pilot enterprises in the local guidance documents on foreign exchange revenue and expenditure facilitation, after completing evaluation, filing, and other procedures, customers are included in the service trade revenue and expenditure facilitation pilot list. After participating in the pilot program, Bank of China Guangdong Branch simplified the document review according to regulations, shortened the processing time for single transactions to 5 minutes, and is expected to save over 1000 hours of business throughout the year. At the same time, foreign exchange payments for service trade can use electronic tax filing, greatly reducing the "foot to foot cost" of enterprises traveling to and from banks and the labor cost of preparing paper documents in advance. The implementation of facilitation policies is of great help to enterprises in saving operating costs and improving the efficiency of fund utilization.

Case2 : Facilitating Trade Foreign Exchange Receipts and Payments
A company is a central enterprise in Sichuan whose main business is chemical Petroleum engineering contracting. Its foreign exchange revenue and expenditure are mainly related to overseas contracted projects. Every time the company receives and pays foreign exchange, it needs to provide invoices, budget statements and other information with the official seal of the company. There are many types of information and complex business processes. With the increasing number of overseas contracted engineering projects by enterprises year by year, the projects involving countries, project scale, business transactions, and transaction amounts have significantly increased. Enterprises urgently need more convenient cross-border settlement methods to ensure the operation of their overseas projects.
Bank of China Sichuan Branch actively implements the policy of facilitating trade foreign exchange receipts and payments, provides convenience service plans for customers, and includes enterprises in the facilitation pilot after completing the enterprise admission assessment and filing procedures according to regulations. After implementing convenience services, customer information review has shifted from submitting corresponding background information for each business transaction to conducting regular spot checks on project background information, greatly reducing the time for enterprises to prepare background information and use seals for approval, and reducing the workload of enterprise financial personnel. The Sichuan Branch of Bank of China also implements post good management and conducts regular on-site visits to understand the client's business situation, project progress, project payment collection, etc., comprehensively controlling the implementation of the project and ensuring the authenticity of the trade background. As of the end of April 2022, Bank of China Sichuan Branch has handled a total of 279 trade and foreign exchange facilitation businesses for this client, totaling $1.3 billion.
