Adhering to the concept of “extensive investor protection” and following the principle of “valuing,revering and protecting investors”, SZSE takes multiple measures simultaneously, focuses on practical work,and actively carries out various activities on considerate services for investor education so as to strive to create the business card for considerate services and constantly improve investors' sense of gain and satisfaction.

In the first half of 2023, the brick-and-mortar SZSE Investor Education Basewere visited 314 times by batches of investors and hada total of more than 7,000 person-times reception, whilethe Internet-based investor education base released a total of 272 pieces of series of original products for investor education, with over 50 million webpage views. Both types of investor bases got an excellent result in annual evaluation and assessment.

Actively implementing the “people-centered”service concept and sticking to the mission of “gathering innovation capital and stimulating growth momentum”, SZSE firmly walks at the forefront of practice for market service innovation. Since the full implementation of the registration-based IPO system, SZSE Investor Education Base has consistently combined the strategy of “goingout” and “welcome-in” to build a bridge for investors to understand the capital market, offering better service for small and medium-sized investors.

Based on the unified deployment of the “Considerate Services in the Capital Market” event of SZSE, the investor education base has continuously carried out a series of investor education activities close to market entities and at the grassroots level, with the theme of “forging ahead to start a new journey of investor education”. A total of 125 activities were held, such as “Listed Companies’ Open House Program for Investors”, Lecture Hall of Investor Education, Investor Education Salon, and Investor Symposium, covering 36 cities in 26 provinces and municipalities, with over 5 million times of participation online. The events were aimed at promptly publicizing the function and role of capital market, interpreting the rules of the capital market system, advocating the concept of value-based investment, boosting investor confidence, and creating a favorable environment for the comprehensive in-depth reform of the capital market.

In addition to the “going out” strategy, “welcome-in” is necessary. In the first half of 2023, SZSE Investor Base was fully open to the public, having received widespread praise from visiting groups such as governments at all levels, financial institutions, media institutions, and individual investors, with a satisfaction rate of over 96%. In order to steadily promote the integration of investor education into the national education system, the investor education base successively invited a total of 15 batch-times of student groups from various high schools and institutions of higher learning all over China to pay a visit to SZSE. These have helped students understand the basic knowledge of securities market, strengthened their risk awareness and enhanced financial literacy through various forms such as document literature, physical securities, historical photos and multimedia images. 

In the context of the full implementation of the registration-based IPO system, SZSE Investor Education Base has effectively shouldered the responsibility of advocating policies and popularizing knowledge, gone hand in hand with the market participants to make the special publicity by producing diversified products for investor education, such as long pictures, folders, articles and video courses. These have made detailed interpretation of the background significance, rules and procedures, and mechanism arrangements of the comprehensive registration-based IPO system reform,which facilitates investors to understand the differences between the old and the new systems, understand the principles of system design, and grasp the key points of system content. A total of 159 products related to investor education have been launched, with approximately 32 million webpage views.

Next, firmly grasping the general requirements of the theme education of “learning advanced ideas, strengthening the spirit of CPC, valuing practice, and making new achievements” and in accordance with the deployment requirements presented by CSRC at the mid-year work symposium,SZSE will take the needs of investors as a guide and the construction of investor education bases as the key to further enhance service awareness and improve service quality. We will continuously increase and improve the display content of both brick-and-mortar investor education base and the Internet-based investor education bases and provide “one-stop” investor education services to create a business card for considerate investor services,thus assisting in the comprehensive in-depth reform of capital market and consolidating the foundation of investor protection for the construction of a modern capital market with Chinese characteristics.
