KBank welcomes a media delegation from Vietnam
On August 23 and 24, KASIKORNBANK (KBank) extended a warm welcome to a media delegation of 15 outlets from Vietnam, including VNExpress, Tuoi Tre, Dan Tri, Viet Nam News, Forbes Vietnam, VTV, and others. Their visit aimed to gain insights into KBank's vision and strategies for its business undertakings in Vietnam while also fostering cordial relations and long-term confidence between the media and the Bank. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Pipit Aneaknithi, KBank President, and Mr. Chat Luangarpa, Executive Vice President.

Building upon its success and experience in Thailand of more than 78 years, KBank is determined to expand its business in Vietnam. This includes increasing its investment from 285 million USD in 2023 to 735 million USD by 2027, and recruiting local employees – from 350 in 2023 to 1,700 within 2027. To strengthen its tech capability, the Bank has joined forces with KASIKORN BUSINESS-TECHNOLOGY GROUP Vietnam (KBTG Vietnam) in enhancing digital banking services. Additionally, KBank is gearing up to reach new business partners through KASIKORN VISION CO., LTD. (KVision), which has invested in Vietnamese startups with potential and companies in various businesses – including e-commerce, technology, and lifestyle.
The media delegation visited various KBank offices, namely the KASIKORNTHAI Museum at the Rat Burana Building, the KLOUD by KBank Building at Siam Square, and the K+ Building at Samyan, to gain insights into the Bank's historical background and commitment to deliver excellent services to customers at all levels. This was a great opportunity for KBank to share viewpoints with the media delegation, and a good starting point for building a positive and sustainable relationship in the future.
