China Launches Its First "Bay Area" China-Europe Train Service Exclusively for Automobiles
Recently, accompanied by the sound of a train whistle, the "Bay Area" China-Europe train, laden with brand-new domestically produced fuel vehicles, gently departed from the Shenzhen Pinghu Nan National Railway Hub. Heading north, it exits through the Erenhot Port, destined for the Central and Eastern European regions. The entire journey is projected to take 22 days, offering a time-saving advantage of half the duration compared to sea freight.
This marks the maiden voyage of the "Bay Area" China-Europe train service dedicated to automobiles from Shenzhen. The train carries a total of 110 domestically produced fuel vehicles, with an aggregate value of 15.99 million yuan. This initiative provides a secure, efficient, and convenient international logistics corridor for automobile exports from the Greater Bay Area.
Reports indicate that to facilitate the export via the "Bay Area" China-Europe automobile-special train, Shenzhen Customs has closely collaborated with the railway department and relevant enterprises. They have steadfastly implemented a "7×24" hour appointment-based customs clearance and a tailored "one enterprise, one policy" service. Enterprises are offered policy guidance on regulatory requirements, as well as key points for license applications and reviews. With a "one-on-one" customs clearance guidance approach, the entire process, from document preparation to declaration and release, is expedited to a mere half-hour.
In terms of domestic automobile exports, the customs department has worked in tandem with the railway authorities to enhance supporting infrastructure. They've proactively devised contingency plans, fortified communication with customs at the exit points, established emergency response mechanisms for anomalies, and ensured stringent in-transit supervision. Dedicated inspection slots have been reserved, ensuring a collaborative and efficient exit inspection and release process.
