BCIG Reinvests 7.1 Billion Yuan in Nangang
Following the operation of Phase I project in Nangang by Tianjin Bohai Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. (BCIG), the company is reinvesting 7.1 billion yuan in TEDA’s Nangang Industrial Zone for the construction of Phase II integrated chlor-alkali project, paste resin project, reagent project, and Tianjin Haiguang Pharmaceutical APIs project. Currently, all these projects have commenced construction. Among them, the Phase II integrated chlor-alkali project by BCIG involves an investment of over 5 billion yuan and will establish production facilities with an annual output of 300,000 tons of caustic soda, 400,000 tons of VCM, and 400,000 tons of PVC. The paste resin project will set up facilities with an annual output of 120,000 tons of paste resin. The reagent project will construct facilities with an annual output of 25,000 tons of high-purity chemical reagents and electronic chemicals. The Tianjin Haiguang Pharmaceutical APIs project will establish facilities with an annual output of 300 tons of brominated medical intermediates and an API R&D incubation platform.
