Asymchem Completes Acquisition of Its First European R&D and Manufacturing Base
Recently, Asymchem Inc., an enterprise located in TEDA, acquired the API Pilot Plant and R&D Laboratory at the former Pfizer UK Sandwich Site. This acquisition marks the establishment of the first Europ-based R&D and manufacturing hub for Asymchem. Starting from June 2024, Asymchem will fully take over the R&D center and production facilities at the Sandwich Site, as well as the technical and management team that previously worked for Pfizer UK. This move further enhances Asymchem's global supply capabilities in the CDMO sector.
Founded in 1998 in TEDA, Asymchem is a globally leading, technology-driven, one-stop comprehensive service provider for CXO. Over the years, the company has achieved rapid growth with a deep-rooted presence in TEDA. Currently, Asymchem operates eight R&D and manufacturing bases worldwide, along with more than 20 subsidiaries. Its business scope covers early clinical to commercialization stages, including R&D and cGMP production of advanced intermediates, APIs, formulations, and clinical research services.
