Markor's Distributed Photovoltaic Project Phase II Achieves Grid-connected Power Generation in TEDA
Markor’s second phase of the distributed photovoltaic (DPV) project achieved grid-connected power generation at Markor International Furniture (Tianjin) Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in TEDA. This milestone not only accelerates the construction of a “zero-carbon factory” but also further contributes to optimizing the regional energy structure.
The distributed PV project at Markor is being constructed in three phases. The first phase was successfully connected to the grid in October 2023, and the third phase is currently progressing steadily, with full capacity grid connection expected by the end of this year. Upon completion, the project is anticipated to generate 17 million kWh annually, reducing carbon emissions by 150,000 tons per year compared to coal-fired power plants.
