SSE Showcases 30 Years of Growth at CIFIT
On September 8, the 24th China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) took place in Xiamen, Fujian Province. The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) was invited to participate, showcasing its achievements over the past 30 years in a dedicated booth within the "Invest in China–Financial Capital Docking" special zone.
One of the key highlights of the 24th CIFIT was a collaborative effort between the SSE, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, and the Beijing Stock Exchange to host the "Focusing on New Quality Productive Forces, Promoting High-quality Development of the Capital Market—Joint Roadshow for A-share Listed Companies." As a prominent representation of China's economy and a critical window for international investors to observe China's high-quality development, listed companies presented their progress and investment potential to both domestic and foreign investment institutions. The event garnered a strong response, with nearly 100 investors registering to participate.
During the joint roadshow, the technology sector emerged as a focal point for investors. Representatives from companies in biomedicine, high-end equipment, and new energy listed on the STAR Market engaged in in-depth discussions on healthcare, advanced manufacturing, and green and low-carbon development. They provided detailed insights into the latest industry trends and developments based on their own experiences. Company representatives also introduced their business models, development strategies, and corporate governance practices, addressing investor queries following the event.
Many domestic and international investors remarked on the impressive developments showcased by SSE-listed companies, noting the value and inspiration they gained from the event.
This initiative is one of several efforts by the SSE to actively promote the opening-up of China's capital market. Numerous renowned foreign investment institutions praised the event and expressed a strong interest in exploring new investment opportunities within the A-share market.
According to the SSE, under the guidance of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, it will continue to strengthen communication with both domestic and international investors, actively promoting the SSE market and its high-quality listed companies. The goal is to boost investor confidence, attract more long-term foreign capital, and advance the high-quality opening-up of China’s capital market.
