Asian Insurance Forum 2024 to offer insightful perspectives as top-notch experts navigate challenges amidst global volatility
The Insurance Authority (IA)'s annual flagship event Asian Insurance Forum (AIF) will be held on 10 December 2024 under the theme “Rising to the Challenge amidst Global Volatility”. It will gather top-notch speakers from the insurance sector and the financial industry, financial regulators and Government authorities in Hong Kong and around the globe to share insights on navigating challenges and unlocking new opportunities to strengthen Hong Kong's status as a global risk management centre and a regional insurance hub.
Mr John Lee, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), will grace the event and deliver the opening address. Other keynote speakers include Mr Paul Chan, Financial Secretary of the HKSAR and Mr Jonathan Dixon, Secretary General of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS).
AIF 2024 will also feature three panel discussions delving into topics covering (1) supervisory priorities from a global perspective, (2) bolstering the headquarters economy, and (3) insurance solutions in wealth management, as well as a dialogue with the IA leadership.
