OTP Banka Slovenia after-tax profit up 2% y/y in H1
Hungarian banking group OTP said its Slovenia-based unit increased its after-tax profit to 58 billion Hungarian forints ($169.1 million/145.7 million euro) in the first half of 2025, up 2% year-on-year.
The net interest income of OTP Banka Slovenia fell 8% on the year to 90.3 billion forints in January-June, while its net fee and commission income fell 4% to 26.3 billion forints in the period under review, OTP said in a financial report published earlier this week.
Operating expenses edged down 2% on the year to 53 billion forints in the first half of 2025.
OTP Banka Slovenia's gross loans to customers increased by 2% year-to-date to 3 trillion forints at end-June, while deposits from customers were flat at 4.8 trillion forints in the reviewed period.
Total assets came in at 5.98 trillion forints at the end of June, down 2% from the end of 2024.
