Germany's Oyak Anker Bank completes Mambu core migration
Frankfurt-headquartered Oyak Anker Bank has upgraded its legacy core banking system to Mambu's cloud-native platform, executing what the Dutch vendor describes as "one of Germany's most ambitious digital transformation projects".
The migration of the bank's core banking infrastructure to Mambu, deployed on Microsoft Azure, was successfully carried out with the help of regional implementation partner Innovance.
Mambu says the tech upgrade was "a comprehensive, full-stack modernisation and migration" and included a new mobile banking platform, a "reengineered data warehouse", and "a suite of cloud-native ecosystem applications tailored to business and customer needs".
The bank, which manages total assets of around €1.25 billion, says it plans to "launch new financial products" using the platform's in-built product engine, such as fixed-term deposits and personal loans. In a joint statement, Ümit Yaman and Süleyman Erol, general managers at Oyak Anker, add that the project incurred "zero disruption to our business operations".
Mambu has previously partnered with the likes of C24 Bank, SWK Bank, N26, and Raisin Bank in Germany, while its wider operations throughout Europe recently included a migration project with Sweden's Marginalen Bank in June.
