Jointly organised by the Commissioner for Heritage's Office and the Antiquities and Monuments Office (AMO) of the Development Bureau on November 9 and 10, the Greater Bay Area Built Heritage Summit (the Summit) is open for registration yesterday (October 18).

A conference held Thursday in Hong Kong highlighted the opportunities for the international financial hub in integrating into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Office co-organised the inaugural GoGBA Day on Thursday (22 Sept).

The Beibu Gulf and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area have further strengthened their cooperation by signing a series of cooperation projects in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, ahead of the opening of the 19th China-ASEAN Expo.

Under the overall planning and guidance of CSRC, SZSE recently issued the Business Guide of Shenzhen Stock Exchange for Credit Protection Instruments (Revised in 2022). Shenzhen Securities Information Co., Ltd. (SSIC), as one of the first portfolio managers of the portfolio credit protection contracts (“CDX”), launched “CNI-SZSE CDX Portfolio for SZSE Major Issuers” and “CNI-SZSE CDX Portfolio for Major Issuers of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area”, marking the official start of the pilot project of CDX business at SZSE.

Their terms include 2 years, 3 years and 5 years, and the coupon rates are 2.6%, 2.7% and 2.9% respectively. Guangdong issued a total of CNY 2.2 billion in Macao. Their term is 3 years and the coupon rate is 2.68%.

Discussions were also carried out on the enhancement of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect mechanism, the reform and development of the mainland and Hong Kong capital markets, and product allocation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).
