In the First Half of 2021, A Total of 968 ABS Projects Were Issued in the Chinese Market
In the first half of 2021, a total of 968 ABS projects were issued in the Chinese market, with an issue volume of RMB 1,362.642 billion. The total issuance volume was 44% higher than that of the same period last year (822 projects, RMB 966.284 billion). As of June 30, 2021, the cumulative issuance volume of the entire Chinese ABS market was RMB 12,000.30 billion, with the market stock exceeding RMB 40,000 billion.
Among them, 94 credit ABS were issued, with an issue volume of RMB 427.56 billion; 639 corporate ABS were issued, with an issue volume of RMB 679.429 billion; and 235 ABNs were issued, with an issue volume of RMB 256.158 billion.
