Alfa-Bank took a leading position in the Skolkovo innovation rating
Alfa-Bank is in first place among private banks and in second place in the overall standings for the first half of 2024.
The study was conducted according to 20 criteria, grouped into five blocks: "innovative organizational structure", "investment in innovation", "cooperation with startups", "activities aimed at working with innovations and supporting projects at the early stages", "digital services".
Alfa-Bank took first place in the "cooperation with startups" block. In the first half of 2024, the bank signed 9 commercial contracts with Skolkovo startups, launched 14 pilots and expanded the list of opportunities provided to its clients with the help of the resources of 4 startups.
Alfa-Bank is also among the leaders in the "innovation structure", "activities aimed at working with innovations and supporting projects at the early stages" and "digital services" blocks.
"At Alfa-Bank, the pace of work with startups is constantly growing. We are constantly introducing new technologies and finding interesting partners. In the first half of 2024, we conducted 38 scouting sessions and launched 14 pilot projects. The introduction of Skolkovo residents' technologies into our products confirms the high level of integration of innovations in the bank. We apply innovations in various business areas. We are confident that collaboration with startups and the integration of innovations allow us to create unique offers for customers and move forward while maintaining leadership," said Ekaterina Solovyova, Head of the Innovation Office at Alfa-Bank.
The bank innovation rating is an open study by the Sk Fintech Hub analytical center, which has been conducted since 2019. It is based on a data-driven approach based on working with data from open sources, as well as verified information provided by respondent banks. The study analyzes the tools for working with innovations in the top 20 banks and identifies the most progressive banks that are actively working with startups, developing their own technological innovative solutions and investing in new technologies and projects.
