CNOOC Tianjin Institute’s New Materials Base Breaks Ground for Phase I in TEDA
CNOOC Tianjin Chemical Research & Design Institute Co., Ltd. began construction of Phase I of its New Materials Base project in TEDA on March 6. With a total investment of 290 million RMB, the first phase includes the construction of a 5,000-ton-per-year heavy oil catalytic conversion catalyst production line. Once operational, the project will establish an innovative refining and chemical new materials production system with CNOOC's distinctive characteristics, driving the transformation and upgrading of the refining industry. Currently, the planning for Phase II and Phase III is also underway, which will further accelerate the development of Nangang Industrial Zone into a key hub for the commercialization of new chemical material innovations.
CNOOC Tianjin Chemical Research & Design Institute Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive research institute and a national high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, industry services, and the commercialization of advanced technologies.
