Alfa-Bank has launched a video call customer identification service
Alfa-Bank customers can now unblock the card and restore access to their personal account without a personal visit to the bank's branches - by video call.
To do this, just contact the support service by calling or writing in the chat of the mobile application. After that, the bank employee will send the necessary list of documents, which will need to be provided electronically and in person on a video call. Next, the time of the call is appointed, during which the client will be visually identified and the authenticity of the documents will be verified.
This significantly saves time on visits to the bank and is especially important for those who are physically unable to get to the bank branch at the moment. For example, he is in another country or for health reasons.
"Our priority is to create highly effective and customer-oriented digital solutions. We are looking for growth points to automate, speed up processes and increase the availability of services, including solving complex problems such as unblocking accounts. The introduction of virtual identity verification has not only significantly reduced the time spent on customers, but has also strengthened our anti-cyber fraud systems," said Nino Kodua, Chief Operating Officer of Alfa-Bank.
